Weld on the Short Side

Traditionally, rectangles have placed the weld seam along one of the larger edges of the rectangle. For example, on a 6” x 2” rectangle, the weld is on one of the 6” dimensions, inhibiting punching or bending in some applications. At our Chicago, Decatur and Marseilles locations we have the capability to place the weld seam on the smaller, or ”short side”, of the two rectangle dimensions.
